Wild Pepper 'Voatsiperifery', Analamanga, Madagascar

This single origin Madagascan Wild Pepper or in local dialect 'Voatsiperiferry' is a type of peppercorn unique to Madagascar. It has a spiciness similar to that of a black pepper but also boasts much more floral and aromatic notes which add to the complexity. The pepper is organic and grows wild in the Anjozorobe Angavo corridor which itself is a conservation area, restoring Madagascar's primary rain forest.
